You know how people always ask about things popping up on the left (often accompanied by a "What's with all those Lehto posts?")? Well, imagine my surprise when I spotted this old gem of mine on the left today. It's been read a few times (460K but who's counting?) but something must have kicked it today - this is the first I've seen of it in months.

I've got nothing else. I'll go back to whatever it is that I do between posts.

Read that, thought about you a bit, and then did my homework on whether or not the dealer was exposed under the federal statute... only if they demanded something in return for the child.

Still awfully hinky. Florida needs to do something about that... both on the "kidnap" end and the quick repossession end. Seems to me that there must have been a quick loss clause in the sales contract, otherwise some other debt recovery laws could have stepped in (30 day arrearage, etc.)
